…...it does have  nice hand tooling work all over it
I have no idea how old it is, it does show some age

It looks like there are two initials;  JD   one on each side of the area where the belt clasp  is   (see photo 6 and 11)

Overall Size;     41"  long   x     3  3/4"  wide  and it is a bit wider in the back -  size;  4  1/4" wide at the back    …
Size;   41" long  to  36"  long      there are 8 holes in the belt to put the metal piece into
Overall size of pistol portion;
9 1/2"  long    x   4  1/4"  wide  (at the top, right near the belt itself)
