VINTAGE Custom COWBOY STEER WOOLEY CHAPS SILVER BRASS GOLD CONCHOS & Belt

Here’s some old doozeys, ranch tanned hair on steer Hyde , pretty unique and kinda Cowboy fancy looking , beautiful handmade antique belt with silver and brass buckles ( belt fits size 33-36 waist . These are smaller chaps for uncle Browdy whom was chicken legged . Looks like 4 Zuni /Hopi style conchos . And I redid the manual loops for the lower part of the leg . I assume somebody traded the other conchos for whiskey or something . These definitely show some wear and age , some parts are dried out and cracked some still feel new and strong .I also repaired a rip ( see photos ) using original material and methods . These were prob made at the Lucky Ranch in West Texas and then made their way to the Runyan Ranch in Meeker . ( there is some faint writing /letters on right leg .
Anywho I fixed them up for wall hangers or historical type collector folks . You could use them but no guarantee how long they would last working ponies or yearlings all day , prob good for a bar fight or 2 or possibly reenactment/movie/film making .
Or hang them on the wall and let them inspire stories of the Wild West to tell to the grandkids . Smells like old leather :)
