    This set of USSR / Russian nesting dolls is in excellent vintage condition all posed in their caricatured with signature styles and facial expressions, this set of 5 stackable Matryoshka dolls represents Russian rulers from the past century.

    2. Mikhail Gorbachev : leader from 1985-1991

    Leonid Illich Brezhnev : leader from 1964-1982

    Josef Stalin : leader from 1922-1953

    Vladimir Illyich Lenin : leader from 1917-1922
    Hand painted
    and in excellent condition. Facial shading on first two dolls is very detailed. Smaller sizes lose some detail due to dimishing size.
    Largest measures 4 7/10" inch tall.
