Description
Offered are a pair of Hamley chaps. The chaps were made for C. W. Warren of Deer Lodge Montana. They were made in 1934 by Hamley & Company of Pendleton, Oregon. The chaps are stamped HAMLEYCO PENDLETON ORE. 480 SPECIAL 34 6163. Total length 42". This is a different pair of chaps, they are " batwings - step-ins, or stove pipes". !! No hooks to snap, see pictures. There is a CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY from Hamley & Co. that will be included. I believe that these chaps were made for Conrad Kohrs Warren of Deer Lodge Montana. Conrad took over the Grant-Kohrs Ranch in 1932. The chaps were made in 1934. The ranch was one of the largest in the history of the cattle - horse era of the old west. The ranch is now part of the National Parks Service. A copy of all the information provided from the National parks will also be included. This is HISTORY !!
