Up for sale is a Genuine E3D Original style silicone Sock. These differ from the "Pro" versions by allowing the entire nozzle to stick out in order to assist with less rubbing against your print. This E3D Silicone Sock is a perfect way to keep your HotEnd clean and neat. This will fit the E3D V6 HotEnd or other V6 Style Hotends that are based on the E3D V6 HotEnd. The sock clips right onto the HotEnd with no disassembly needed and prevent failed prints from sticking to the heater block or melting over the thermistor wires. Failed prints can lead to major extrusion problems, sometimes full replacements of HotEnds. These Silicone socks help prevent these issues by adding a layer of protection over the HotEnd which makes it easier for the filament to fall off the heater block. They can also help insulate the HotEnd a bit which helps keep the heat in. This can speed up warm up times and help keep a consistent heat while printing. Three (3) Socks are included in this purchase. The outer dimensions of each individual sock is 25mm x 18.5mm x 14mm (.99in x .73in x .54in). Please note,

These socks are rated up to 300c per the manufacturer. Do not use these socks at temperatures over 300c. At normal operating temperatures these socks have a very good lifespan. V6 heater blocks (As long as they are the same style and dimensions as the genuine E3d V6 ones), however I can only guarantee that they will fit the Genuine E3D V6 Heater block.
