    Description

Unmarked set of Mercury Dime spurs attributed to Eddy Hulbert circa early 1900's. Eddy Hulbert was born in 1898 and learned his trade in Hillsboro, Montana learning blacksmithing and the art of the silversmith at the age of 13. His spurs are highly sought after and regarded by collectors. These spurs are in good overall condition showing iron construction with highly sought after Mercury Dimes and star shaped rowels. The Mercury dime is a ten-cent coin struck by the United States Mint from late 1916 to 1945 and is .90 silver. The measurements of this set of spurs are 2" x 9" x 4 1/2".
Most of his unmarked pieces sold through Hamleys in Oregon.
