    I recently purchased a collection of 19th century photos from Texas and Western states. Some very nice and rare images in this collection. I'll be listing these over the next couple of weeks.
    Fantastic image of a sod home in Nebraska by Palisade photographer Bostock. Fairly large house with windows. Family is posing in front of the home with windmill, cattle and horses in the background. In the foreground, barbed wire can be made out. A rough, tough life for these folks.
    The photo itself measures 8 1/8 x 6 inches mounted to a card measuring 12 x 10 inches. The photo is in remarkably good condition and the card is as well with some very minor wear to the extreme edges and rounded corners.
    Very nice image.
