    Description

Here we have an original 12 page (includes front and back covers) booklet and a ribbon. The booklet contains 8 pages with actual print.  It contains Constitution For Lee County Order of The Anti-Horse Thief Association of Iowa.  Was published by The News, St. Paul, Kas. in 1911.
Booklet is approx. 3 x 5" in size--the ribbon is about 2 1/8 x 6".   Because of tightness of the binding I hesitated to place on scanner to picture inside pages--contains info on organization's procedures etc.
Items will be well protected when sent.  Might mention because of slowness of mail these days we will be sending this item by Priority Mail which will provide some insurance and in most cases very fast delivery.
We purchased these probably 40 or more years ago from a very well known antique shop in Kahoka, Mo. which is located in N.E. Missouri. This shop has been out of business for probably at least 25 years.  The ribbon has the name "Vincennes" on it.   We checked Vincennes and found it to located just a few miles north of where from Kahoka is located.  I cannot locate any town at present but at one time there was a community by that name.  Based on the ribbon and where Kahoka is located we are assuming the booklet was also from Vincennes at that time.
